Right now i'm back from the Microsoft Lauch Event for SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005 and BizTalk Server 2006..
The launch held in City Stars Hotel in Nasr City - Cairo..
It showed how businesses using this integrated platform can help to deliver connected solutions faster, more efficiently and make more informed decisions and drive even the most demanding mission critical applications.
The event had also featured Microsoft's partner pavilion hosting 23+ Launch partners showcasing business solutions and applications.
We had speakers from Microsoft Egypt and USA, also we listened to a Sweden speaker from Intel about the innovation between Microsoft & Intel for 20 years..
They gave us presents consists of the showcases, samples, manuals and CDs..and some lucky fellows had FREE exam vouchers for Microsoft new products..unfortunately, i wasn't from them.. ;-(
It was a BIG event with 5000 attendees, the biggest number of attendees ever for a launch event in Egypt!..
This event was very helpful to developers and i appreciate Microsoft for its endless flow of information!
